The function of thinking that God wants to heal your body is rooted in the belief that your body is separate from His. You can't find foundations for our Western belief system — as though we're reaching to somebody that is either granting or withholding healing to our bodies."

Jesus came to abolish death and bring life and immortality to light through the gospel, offering us a biological existence that is exempt from decay and corruption. Our "salvation" should be observable and experiential in this life, not just a future hope.
