EVERY HUMAN PERSON IS CREATED AND CALLED BY GOD TO A SPECIFIC MISSION AND PURPOSE IN LIFE. THE ULTIMATE END OF OUR INDIVIDUAL CALLS IS THE GLORIFICATION OF GOD AND THE SALVATION OF THE UNIVERSE. TODAY'S HOMILY IN BRIEF.
CONVENTIONALLY, WHEN PEOPLE RECEIVE PRECIOUS GIFTS, THEY TRY TO RETURN THE FAVOUR IN ONE WAY OR ANOTHER. JESUS CHRIST HAS OFFERED HIMSELF FOR OUR SALVATION AND REDEMPTION. IT'S ONLY PROPER THAT WE GIVE HIM OUR BEST IN RETURN. TODAY MARKS THE BEGINNING OF THE LAST WEEK OF LENT. WHAT HAVE YOU GIVEN UP FOR JESUS AND HOW PRECIOUS/HOW EXPENSIVE IS IT TO YOU?

    TODAY'S HOMILY IN BRIEF.
IN THE MIDST OF CHALLENGES, HARDSHIP, TRIALS AND ADVERSITIES IT'S QUITE EASY TO LOSE OR ABANDON ONE'S FAITH IN THE QUEST FOR QUICK SOLUTIONS JUST AS EXCESSIVE WEALTH, COMFORT, POWER, FAME, UNGAURDED AMBITIONS AND ONE'S ACHIEVEMENTS CAN LEAD ONE TO LOSING SIGHT OF THE PLACE OF GOD IN ONE'S LIFE. IN ALL THESE HOWEVER, WE'RE CONSTANTLY ENCOURAGED TO KEEP THE FAITH IN ALL THINGS AND AT ALL TIMES.

    TODAY'S HOMILY IN BRIEF.
JOSEPH PLAYED A SIGNIFICANT AND INDISPENSABLE ROLE IN THE HISTORY OF HUMAN SALVATION BEING THE EARTHLY FATHER OF JESUS CHRIST AND THE HUMAN HEAD OF THE HOLY FAMILY OF JESUS, MARY AND JOSEPH. HE WAS FAITHFUL IN THE DISCHARGE OF HIS PARENTAL RESPONSIBILITIES TOWARDS JESUS AND MARY. GOD INVITES US TODAY TO IMITATE ST. JOSEPH IN THIS REGARD.

  • Mon. Mar. 18th, 2024 Homily by fadapeterbenson: TRUST NOT IN THE SENSES BUT IN DISCERNMENT.
    TODAY'S HOMILY IN BRIEF.
THE HUMAN SENSES ARE VERY ESSENTIAL AND QUITE INDISPENSABLE FOR HUMAN EXISTENCE. NEVERTHELESS, THE TOTAL TRUST IN AND SOLE DEPENDENCE ON THE SENSES CAN BE MISLEADING BECAUSE THEY ARE LIMITED. THE USE OF THE SENSES MUST BE AIDED THROUGH THE ACT OF DISCERNMENT IN ORDER TO MSKE THE RIGHT CHOICES AND DECISIONS IN LIFE.

  • Sat. Mar. 16th, 2024 Homily by the: HE'S A SIGN OF CONTRADICTION.
    TODAY'S HOMILY IN BRIEF.
JESUS CHRIST IS "DIFFERENT THINGS' TO "DIFFERENT PEOPLE" DEPENDING ON THE STANDPOINT FROM WHICH EACH CHOOSES TO EXPERIENCE HIM. HE WAS FEARED BY THE POWERFUL AND SCORNED BY THE PROUD. YET HE WAS WELCOMED WITH JOY BY THE POOR AND EMBRACED BY THE MEEK AND HUMBLE. ONLY A SINCERELY SIMPLE HEART AND TOTAL DOCILITY TO THE HOLY SPIRIT CAN AID US TO HAVE THE TRUE EXPERIENCE OF WHOM JESUS REALLY IS.
