On the forty-eighth episode of Much Review About Nothing we reviewed Eternals (2021). Again, we must point out that we haven't seen the movie. That is 100% not a joke. Everything we know about the film comes from the trailer, reviews, articles, and our own biased preconceptions. Listen along as we ponder burning questions like: Why are the Eternals plagued by so many fundamental design flaws? Is the Celestial terrible at his job (and should be fired)? Is the Celestial much more gifted at the marketing side of things? How bad must a film be if literal mind control can’t even make you like it? Did we just find out that History Channel’s Ancient Aliens show might actually be true? But most importantly, can this actually be considered a quote-unquote “superhero” movie if our protagonists’ primary goal is to viciously pummel a newborn?
