The Oxford School Shooting occurred on November 30, 2021, at Oxford High School in Oxford Township, Michigan. A 15-year-old sophomore student Ethan Crumbley carried out the attack using a semi-automatic handgun that his father had purchased days earlier. The shooting resulted in the deaths of four students—Tate Myre (16), Hana St. Juliana (14), Madisyn Baldwin (17), and Justin Shilling (17)—and injured seven others, including a teacher.

Law enforcement officers apprehended the shooter within minutes of the first shots being fired. He was charged as an adult with multiple counts, including first-degree murder and terrorism causing death. Additionally, the shooter's parents Jennifer Crumbley & James Crumbley were charged with involuntary manslaughter, as authorities argued they had failed to secure the firearm and had ignored warning signs about their son's behavior.

The incident shocked the community and the nation, prompting discussions about school safety, gun control, and parental responsibility.
