If you have never been to an adoration chapel before I want to give you an idea as to what to expect when you enter into one. Typically an adoration chapel is separate from the church. Inside is a quiet stillness solely created for the purpose of centering prayer. Many come here to pray the rosary, or a novena for them self or a loved one. You can spend one hour daily in the presence of our Lord. There are votives available, there are chairs with kneelers, religious books, and bibles, to help further your studies in the faith in an environment that attracts ones heart, ones mind towards centering both toward Christ. It is the absolute perfect setting because in the center of the room is a crucifix hung above a small altar holding a monstrance and within it a lunette that holds the host, the body of our Lord. And lastly a sanctuary lamp in red glass is always lit as a reminder of our Lord being present among us.
Adorers are always welcomed in all churches throughout the world. You can sign up for an hour once a month and spend the most important hour of your life with God. Adoration does have the ability to inspire enlightenment toward every single heart and mind, who chooses to come into the LIGHT and holy presence of God. It's a deepening of ones desire to know God on a new level and to know them self more than ever, and at he same time, having that combination develop a new and special important relationship with God, offers great solicitude, and answers to all the questions they have about faith answered to them in an environment that is absolutely perfect, to aspire and inspire as well as develop the special kind of spiritual growth needed to live a full life in Christ. One full hour, every month, over a period of time, will change your life and bring you onto a new course of direction. As a Christian, I believe you are either walking toward Christ and growing in your faith walk, or you are falling away from Him and every ounce of GRACE and GROWTH, He is wanting to BLESS your life with. We have to become fully aware of this reality. If we don't, we lose every choicest gift that Christ has to offer.
We have to be constantly challenged in order to grow in our awareness of our Christian spirituality . We are SPIRITUAL BEINGS, in need growth, the kind of growth that needs attending to on a daily basis. I ask myself is this all that I am willing to give my Lord who wants to give me life eternal? I also ask you this same question. Jesus died for me so that I can go on to live forever. There is so much work to be done. And at the very least, I have recognized the importance of my Lord and his graciousness given to me as I live out the last half of my life. A round small piece of bread, is in fact the body of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and yet HE is here to save us from our sin so that we can all have life eternal in HIM.
I want to challenge you further to attend an adoration chapel within your own church where ever you may live, and see for yourself the great gift that it is in bringing our souls closer to the truths through the mysteries of our faith. There we are as one in Christ and there we experience him personally and have transformation of mind, body, soul, and spirit forever. Just one hour a month will crack you open and awaken your senses from the slumber that has captivated you and taken you away from JESUS. It is your soul and my soul along with all the souls that are still roaming the face of the earth that need this gentle reminder today. I want the truth to be known. I want to introduce JESUS to you! I am so excited for you, and can you just imagine the excitement of our Lord when you come to Him and unite yourself to Him, while there is still time to do it.
