"El Baile de la Tetelcinga" alludes to the indigenous village of Tetelcingo. "Los Vaqueritos Groovies" revisits the dance of the "vaqueritos," which portrays life in the countryside and celebrates the importance of agriculture for the community. "Entre Moros y Cristianos" evokes the dance of the Moors and Christians, which dramatizes the confrontation between these two cultures. "La Danza de Xochipitzahuatl" refers to the eponymous dance of Nahua origin, used in various ritual contexts such as attracting rain, health, and harvests.
