Eunice Inspires The Podcast

I tried to record this episode so many times and could never post it. I am grateful for Starbucks and it’s free WIFI. LOL! I hope you guys are having a wonderful week.

This week I decided to start back my healthy journey. I went grocery shopping, I was meal prepping for next week and most of I was happy doing it. In this episode, I open up about what has really been keeping me back from accomplishing my goals. I discuss my fears, my lack of dedication, and a little about my traumatic experience with my mom’s expiration. I am a work in progress.

As I was having a conversation with my friend Xaina Lou (owner of @xainalou), We realized that I merged the lines. “Eunice My Journey” is supposed to be about me and my day-to-day challenges as a single mother but I started touching subjects that are for my nonprofit organization. In this episode, we get to understand how we should be treated as single mothers in a relationship. We also talk about protecting our energy as single mothers and how our children are affected by the people around us.

We should always value the value that people bring to our lives. We don’t know what we have until it’s gone, so please don’t let it be when your friend is gone to know the value they had in your life.

When you place a frog in a pot of hot water he will automatically jump out, now if you place that same frog in cold water and add heat gradually it will stay until it dies. The same goes for toxic people/relationships.

I had to distance myself from people who would loudly embrace me but silently try to compete against me...

see during your lifetime you will meet a lot of people that act like they want to see you win, but in reality, every time you move up a level in life it upsets them. I've never been the type who secretly wants to do better than the people I love ...your level up is my inspiration ...I want all of us to WIN! But in life, you have to learn that everyone doesn't have the same mindset or heart as you. Sometimes you gotta let some people go and wish them the best even when they wish you the worst . It is what it is.

We all have friend who try to convince us that they love us more then someone else. In this episode, I discuss some of the situations that I have encountered in the past with unhealthy friendships/relationships. I believe we all should take inventory of the people we have in our lives and what they bring to the table.
