Europeans: Into a new Europe Season 3 Episode 4: Today we are speaking with Sophie from the Austrian project “Vegan Kochen Wien '' which translates to English as “Vegan Cooking Vienna”. For this project, five university students came together with the beautiful idea of offering free vegan cooking classes once a month for everyone interested in vegan cuisine. With delicious meals, they want to inspire the participants and show them how easy it is to cook with vegan ingredients. Another interesting fact about the project is that it is funded by the European Solidarity Corps.

Europeans: into a new Europe Season 3 Episode 3 - “Just do it!” This describes very well the project we’ve had the chance to unpack in this episode. Andreas Noe, alias The Trash Traveler tells us the story from how he started to occasionally pick up trash at the Portuguese coast to the development of a great project with countless volunteers participating. In his current project, “The Trash Cycle”, The Trash Traveler cycles 3000 km around Portugal in order to raise awareness about plastic pollution.

Europeans: into a new Europe Season 3 Episode 2 - Today, we are speaking with Maria, part of Lern-Fair, a German project offering free and digital tutoring for pupils of all ages. It was founded at the beginning of the pandemic and tries to reduce educational injustice, which intensified when schools had to close in March 2020. Since then the project had a phenomenal journey, with more than 23.000 pupils registering on the platform and winning multiple prizes, like the National German Commitment Award.
