✎ Our adventure takes us from the clear skies of Tokyo to the stormy streets of Manila. Leaving behind a typhoon on the horizon, Nina and I hopped on a plane to the Philippines. The journey started with airport discoveries, from quirky rice machines to Nina’s fascination with melon cookies. Touching down in Manila was chaotic—an hour-long taxi ride for a 20-minute trip—and ended with us diving into the local fast-food scene at Jollibee. Spoiler alert: the mango peach pie was a hit for Nina!

✎ The real highlight was meeting our incredible team for the first time in person. We started the day with a coffee tasting at Tim Hortons (yes, there’s one in Manila!) before heading to a lunch buffet where we caught up with the team, laughed, and planned big moves. It was humbling to connect with them face-to-face after working together virtually for so long. The energy they brought reminded me why we do what we do.

✎ Manila isn’t just about work—it’s an experience. From battling typhoon winds while walking to Jollibee to unpacking in a gorgeous new place filled with sunflowers and marble everything, every moment here feels like a story waiting to be told. Through the rain, the laughs, and the incredible people, I’m reminded how much beauty there is in embracing the unexpected.

Whether you join a book club, a sports team, an art class, or a hiking group, you will find good friends and build trust. You just have to show up consistently and give it a try.

✎ If you want to build true wealth, you must master the main skill of communication and sales. You cannot be average at a dozen things. You must be great at one thing. Warren Buffett used to get sick from his fear of public speaking, but a Dale Carnegie course changed his life. Bill Gates saved his early business by learning how to sell partnerships. Great leaders like Richard Branson, Mark Cuban, Robert Kiyosaki, and Elon Musk all learned how to share their big ideas. You need to focus your practice like Bruce Lee and Anders Ericsson teach. Study the best people in the world like Chris Voss, Jack Ma, Tony Robbins, and Les Brown to grow your persuasion skills.

✎ Finally, you must stop making the huge mistakes that hurt new entrepreneurs. First, do not work all alone without help. Second, write a clear business plan so you know where you are going. Third, build strong daily work habits so you do not waste time. Fourth, talk to your market so you do not build a product that nobody wants to buy. And fifth, never let the fear of failure make you quit. Thomas Edison found thousands of ways that did not work before he made the light bulb. Failure is just a chance to get feedback and learn. Everything around you was built by people no smarter than you who were simply crazy enough to think they could change the world. Look at Steve Jobs and Steve Wozniak. They started with zero dollars in a garage. Jobs had to sell his van just to get parts for their first computer. He ignored everyone who said it was impossible and built an empire. You have that same power inside of you right now, but you have to stop letting the opinions of others drown out your own inner voice.

✎ To win when you have nothing, you must copy the rise of your heroes, not their current results. When Steve Jobs returned to Apple in 1997, he didn't try to do everything. He cut 70% of the products and focused on just four things. You need to do the same by picking one problem, one product, and one platform. Stop multitasking because it kills your productivity. Use free tools like artificial intelligence to build your business. Use Gemini or other tools to handle your marketing and design. Technology is the bicycle for your mind that lets you compete with giant companies even if your bank account is empty.

✎ Success is about taking action even when you are scared or feel like you might suck. Many smart people fail because they overthink and wait for a perfect plan. Don't be like the person who missed a 40 million dollar deal because they were too busy polishing a business plan instead of launching. You have to be willing to look stupid at the beginning. It took 350 videos before the content here was even decent. Focus on the quality of your ideas rather than fancy cameras. Start a business development show to connect with clients and turn your past pain into your future purpose. Believe in yourself and take that first step today.
