Evangel Assembly of God Church, Kansas City

What is it like? Why does it exist? How do I avoid it? To finish our series of questions, join us as Pastor Jason helps us tackle the often avoided and uncomfortable topic of hell. (Be sure to join us beginning 8.21 as we talk about Heaven!)

Irrelevant, outdated, and impotent are words some use to describe the church. But how can we change these perceptions? Join us as we talk about some practical ways to put our belief into action and get outside the walls of our building.

How do we know that Christianity is any more truthful than other religions? Is it closed-minded to think this is the only way? Join us this week as we tackle this big question. Plus, a bonus message on how to find God's way through the issues we are facing today.

Have ever wondered why bad things happen in the world? If God is good, why is the world still filled with such evil, suffering, and pain? Join us this week as we question how good and evil coexist. "In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.” (John 16:33b, NLT)

Have you ever questioned the reliability of the Bible? Or maybe you don’t know what to say when others question the truth of the Bible? Join us this week as we continue our series of questions and dive into a few of the reasons the Bible is trustworthy.

Have you ever heard someone say, What’s true for you doesn’t have to be true for me? Is there really only one absolute truth for everyone? Join us for our new series “I Have a Question…” as we wrestle with some of the big questions about truth, faith, God, and the Bible.

Join us as we celebrate the dads and men of Evangel on Father's Day! We will talk about a great dad mentioned in the Bible and get to watch another live game of Evangel’s Family Feud. Don’t miss out on the fun!

Webster defines success as “the fact of getting or achieving wealth, respect, or fame.” But how do we achieve spiritual success? Join us this week as we look at the story of the Rich Young Ruler to learn about Jesus’ prescription for spiritual success.

Ed Stetzer once said, “No one travels through a broken world without experiencing brokenness.” Join us as we look at God’s prescriptions for brokenness and how He can help us move from brokenness and hurt to complete healing. Don’t miss this powerful message! “He heals the brokenhearted and bandages their wounds.” (Psalm 147:3nlt)

We all experience transitions in life. Some are positive — marriage, new job, graduation — some are negative — death, divorce, sickness, unemployment. “'For I know the plans I have for you,' declares the LORD, ‘plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.’” (Jeremiah 29:11niv) You won’t want to miss this prescription for transitions!
