Pastor Nathan continues the “Increase Our Capacity” series.  To open the sermon Pastor Nathan tells about a dream another pastor had. This dream ties in with the work the LORD wants to do in Evangel today.

The point of the message today is to put out the call that the capacity of our hearts would increase to include the work of being sent out.

Pastor Nathan begins today’s sermon by reminding us what he means by the term “increase our capacity “, the word that the Lord has given him for the next season at Evangel.

The mission that Jesus gave the church is the Great Commission. The church needs to increase its capacity, this is 100% in direct proportion for the need of the individuals in Evangel to increase their capacity.

In the State if the Church address in February one of the states goals of Evangel Assembly is to increase our capacity. To do this there are 5 shifts that need to take place.

On this Easter Sunday Pastor Nathan brings us a message about life before and after the cross.

In the sermon we hear about the trial of Jesus before he was hung on the cross. Specifically why the Pharisees wanted Jesus dead and how they tried to find a reason to kill Jesus.

Next Pastor Nathan talks about the “after” part of the cross story is much different than then the before. Here we see the hope we have, the hope that Mary, the other women, and the disciples seen with their own eyes - Jesus left the tomb. This is our hope, that this life is available to us, to save us and change us.
