Not only is He reliable, but there is no decision that we could make that would limit God from still using us to progress His plan for our lives. From Matthew 6:31-33, Pastor Isaiah continues on the series on God's will by affirming that God is the God of our future. Similar to last week's message that taught that our futures are in God's hands, this week's sermon expounds on the amazing truth that God knows everything about the future. These realities about God have laid the foundation for the next two weeks as we will now transition into seeing how we are to do our part in preparing for the future God has for us.

March 28, 2018- Midweek Worship Service

From John 20:11-18, Pastor Isaac talks about the impact that the resurrection has on a Christians life. The example found in Mary's reaction to both Christ's death and resurrection in this Passage shows the modern Christian that there is both sadness and celebration in the work of Christ. While it should bring us great reverence that Christ died on that cross because of us, it should in the same breath give us great joy that this is what He did. For in the cross and the resurrection, He extends to us the same new life with Him.

From Matthew 22:36, Sam talks about the second greatest commandment- to

love others. Addressing the question that has been asked for many years,

that is why did Jesus give two instead of one, Sam shows that the two are

bound and can not be separated. Truly loving God leads to and is manifest

loving others. Likewise, if one were to only love others, what reason would

he was first loving God?

February 28, 2018- Midweek Worship Service

From Matthew 22:34-36, Pastor Isaac points out that our nature is in complete opposition to our purpose. Though God has called us to love Him with all that we are, our nature is to love ourselves instead. The great thing about this, though? He loves us anyway. No matter how many times we prove our selfishness and demonstrate our desire for our own glory, God forgives and loves us all the same.

February 21, 2018- Midweek Worship Service

As a stand alone sermon, Pastor Isaac speaks from 1 Peter 5:6-7 on the the very thing that plagues the Christian and keeps him from living out his faith in the Gospel- Pride. Though we verbally affirm the Gospel, that we are unable in our transgressions and need a Savior who is greater, we regularly struggle to live it out. Rather than placing our anxieties upon He who cares for us and is able to bear it, we pridefully go at it alone and trust ourselves more than God Himself.

From Galatians 2:9-11 and Galatians 6:1-2, Pastor Isaac continues in the series "Elements of Worship" by discussing the significance that honest and transparent discussion has within the corporate worship setting of the Church. As a member of the body of Christ, we are called to keep one another accountable. This does not mean harsh correction and break ties, but to lovingly correct, build up, and journey with one another through trials.
