Putting on the Spiritual Armor is important for all believers. What we often fail to see is that this is not a passage for individuals. This is about the body working together, just as the Roman soldiers fought side by side. This needs to be seen in light of the larger context of submitting to one another. Husbands and wives need to know the real enemy is not each other, the spiritual forces of darkness, and they need to fight together, side-by-side. Parents and Children, Workers, etc. need to fight the real enemy side-by-side.
