The following words are mentioned four times in Psalm 107, "Oh that men would praise the LORD for his goodness, and for his wonderful works to the children of men!"  The psalm is structured so that verses 8, 15, 21 and 31 are the close of a part, like a stanza of a song, and the verses reason out the thought of the previous verses.  The verses seem to toss us a question, what will be our response to God's goodness be?

Week 9

When we are thankful, we take the control of our life back. It ceases to be in the hands of some other person, or situation. As a result, faith arises, and when our faith increases, we realize God is in control and we are partnering with Him to do a great work.  That's a real blessing.
