In Joshua 6, Scripture tells us that Rahab was saved alive. At first glance, that may seem like a simple statement—but when you consider who Rahab was, it carries much deeper meaning. In spite of her past and everything attached to her name, she was spared. She lived. What a powerful picture of God's mercy. Just like Rahab, we are recipients of that same grace—undeserved, yet freely given.

Often times when we've had a good church service, we say: "this has been a great place to be." But what makes church a great place to be? We find the answer in scripture!
