Preached from the 2025 Christian Baptist Camp Meeting. Out of three new things listed in Revelation 21, the gates of Pearl provide a vivid picture of what was needed to secure our salvation. What a glorious day when we will march through those gates into the city of God!

All through the book of Mark, we see the works of Jesus on display. When we look at all the miracles performed, then and now, we can only say: "God Did That!"

When Hagar faced a difficult season in her life, she fled to the way of Shur. Though little is known about this path, we see that even in the desert, God provides refuge. In our own times of trouble, He can turn dry, barren places into moments of divine encounter and grace.

While 2 Corinthians 6:14 is often quoted in the context of marriage, this study reveals that its meaning reaches far beyond that. The verse draws from the image of a team of oxen yoked together, emphasizing the importance of unity and shared purpose. When the yoke is unequal, the team cannot work effectively. Likewise, believers are warned of the spiritual danger in being bound together with those who do not share the same faith and direction.

In the Old Testament, a sacrificial lamb was offered to atone for the sins of an individual. This powerful picture is fulfilled in Jesus Christ, the Lamb of God, who was sacrificed on the cross and whose blood was presented on the mercy seat in Heaven. Now, every soul must answer life's most important question: "Will You Choose the Lamb?"

When facing a battle, there's a right way and a wrong way to respond. In this message, we learn from Scripture what not to do when confronted by the enemy—and how avoiding these mistakes can lead to victory.

In Mark 4:18, Jesus warns of seed sown among thorns—those who hear the Word but allow the cares of this world, deceitfulness of riches, and lusts of other things to choke it out. This verse challenges us to examine our hearts: Is the Word being crowded out, or is it bearing fruit?

To open the Lord's Prayer in Matthew 6, we find the key to it all in the first phrase: "Our Father." There is no father like our Father!

These two passages may seem unrelated, but God is showing us the end of the matter of Christ (Luke 4), and the anti-christ (Daniel 7).

In Luke 15, Jesus shares three parables that all center around a common theme: something—or someone—that was lost is joyfully found. What a glorious day it was when the Lord found us, saved us, and we were lost no more!
