Hannah had a request of the Lord, but she did not speak it aloud. 1 Samuel 1 tells us that she spoke the words in her heart, but uttered no words. God heard her prayer for a son, and answered her request with Samuel. Many times we may feel like God does not hear our prayers, but we learn through Hannah that God still hears unspoken requests.

We find assurance in Christ to navigate this life as Christians. We can confidently say we know we are saved, and on the way to Heaven!
