Pastor Evans concludes his 2021 Christmas series with a thought-provoking sermon entitled -Without Christmas-. In a world that wants to cancel the celebration of Christ's birth, we are reminded why Christmas is so important to us.

Almost every great thing that people experience in the Christian life starts with a dream. Jacob slept on the rock, and had a dream sent from the Lord. When dreams become reality, we see the work of God's grace.

One device used by the Philistines to defeat God's people was to get rid of the blacksmiths that made the weapons, armor, and tools. Satan uses the same tactics today, trying to remove our access to tools that sustain our lives in Christ.

In Luke 2, Joseph and Mary travel a day's journey out from Jerusalem, and realize they have lost Jesus. We learn a valuable lesson from this story- to get back what you lost, you have to go back to what you left.

In the church world, sometimes we can become distracted with busyness. Pastor Evans brings things back into perspective by reminding the church of the main focus- Salvation through Jesus Christ.

Often we ask God why we must go through the trials of this life. But here in 1 Peter 4, we remember who we are in Christ, and that at the end of our fiery trials, there is a future glory that awaits us.
