I had the absolute PLEASURE to chat with my girl Evelyn Marley AKA Evie Eve, host of the Twisted Plot podcast, @twistedplot on Instagram and the Residential Confidential podcast, @resconpodcast on Instagram. We start out talking about her Twisted Plot podcast and the amazing mental health advice she gives while talking pop culture and the Residential Confidential podcast where she gives us a peek into neighborhoods and their drama and we laugh at the way ethnic families will make up names for others in their family, just because (Evie Eve's name rings true for her.)
Speaking of fitting names, we go right into why her names fit her, one being Goddess of war and Evelyn opens up about the interview on her podcast that seemingly launched her into Reddit headlines and what felt like a war for her mental health and the fight to move her ego aside so that she could actually grasp the lessons life was trying to teach her.  We also talk about the pandemic,  witnessing the murder of George Floyd and how that impacted her in her life journey, including her podcast and how she has learned to remain true to her voice. And Evelyn shares the book that she read that helped her make agreements with herself in her journey to mental health wholeness.
