Inside the well-written chapters of this book, you will find a thorough analysis of the personalities of each superhero, their weaknesses, strengths, desires, fears, and hopes. I have always felt a strong resemblance between myself and my favorite superhero, Batman. With the help of this book I could feel why. The avoidant/hostile attachment style fully coincides with my own personality. I am sure that each of us loves a specific superhero because in our own sub consciousness we wish we were them and try to emulate their actions. This book explores ways to understand what the similarities really are and helps us in our personal growth.
Daniel Bates has a really particular style of writing. His expertise in psychology, his criticism, and his irony is wonderfully combined in his writing, to make the reading of this book a pure pleasure. I am looking forward to reading more from this author.
