Even Rijden Met

Two true American muscle cars which are priced in the same range as a well equiped Golf GTI Clubsport or Golf R…… The mid engined Corvette (…) with quick shifting dual clutch automatic gearbox and close to 500 horsepower versus the manual 6 speed 'stickshift' Mustang with flat-plane cranck V8 delivering 526 PS. Both cars cars have very low milage and retailing for just over US $75.000,- and to be honest that's a steal!

Max and Paul are on a quest: What is the ultimate drivetrain for a Rolls Royce?

The enthousiasm for Battery Electric Vehicles (BEV) cooled down a little in the last couple of years. Rolls Royce was however the first to introduce a super luxury vehicle with a big battery. The Brits were going all-in with the Spectre in 2024, instant power with 585 PS and 900 Nm of torque.

They also just launched the renewed Ghost II with its magnificant 6.75 l twin turbo V12 with a lazy 563 pk and 850 Nm of torque which they further enhanced to make it if more  seamless.

What do you choose?

Two very diferent supercars, one is the true Grand Tourismo with one of the rare twin turbo V12's left on the planet. The V12 is churning out 835 PS and 1000 Nm of torque,  the other is very sporty 4.0 liter twin turbo V8 with 750 PS and 800 Nm of torque.

Both supercars are built by F1 teams, who still loose money while doing it. Which one makes the more interesting roadcar which gets under your skin?

Elektrische SUV’s en sedans zijn in opmars, maar wie heeft de beste aanpak: Europa of China? • Bijzonderheden: Geavanceerde AI-systemen, ultrakorte laadtijden, high-tech features

Deze drie auto’s laten zien hoe Europa en China hun eigen visie op elektrisch rijden hebben. De Audi en Porsche combineren luxe en sportiviteit met bewezen bouwkwaliteit, terwijl de Xpeng G9 opvalt met futuristische technologie en ongekend snelle laadtijden.

🔥 Porsche 911 Dakar

Beide auto’s zijn ontworpen om op asfalt te presteren, maar voelen zich dankzij hun aangepaste ophanging, offroadbanden en speciale rijmodi ook thuis op gravel en zand. Hoe voelt het om met deze exoten buiten de gebaande paden te rijden? Welke biedt de beste mix tussen supercar-prestaties en terreinvaardigheid? En welke zouden Paul en Max zelf in de garage willen hebben?

De Skoda Enyaq wist menige leaserijder te verleiden. Gaat dat zijn kleinere broer ook lukken om Max en Paul van Splunteren entthousiast te maken De volledig elektrische Skoda Elroq deelt veel van de techniek met de Enyaq, dus de basis is goed.

De Audi RS6 GT is de laatste versie van deze generatie. Oldskool geweld ten opzichte van de hypermoderne en hagelnieuwe BMW M5. Dat is een plug-in hybride met veel meer pk, maar de M5 is ook zwaarder. Welke heeft de voorkeur van Paul en Max van Splunteren?

De Volkswagen Polo was bij velen de eerste leaseauto. Gaat de elektrische Renault 5 die rol van hem overnemen. Even geen hypersnelle Porsche deze keer, maar Max en Paul van Splunteren vinden dit ook erg interessant.

De mannen moesten er lang op wachten, misschien wel te lang. De Porsche 911 GTS is nu een T-Hybrid. Kan het werken een hybride aandrijflijn in een 911, of heeft Porsche het goed voor elkaar. De elektrische turbo en de rest van de aandrijflijn is op papier goed, maar Max en Paul zijn terecht kritisch.

Wat niet helpt: ze moeten hun eerst rondje rijden in de 992.2 GTS rijden in een versie die ze zelf niet zouden kiezen. De 911 Cabriolet Carrera 4 GTS is de zwaarste versie die je kan kiezen.

In Amsterdam zijn de micro-auto's een hit. Parkeren is makkelijk en hard mag je toch niet. De Opel Rocks-E past daar erg goed bij. Voor een stuk meer geld kan je ook in Microlino rijden. Die is stijlvoller en kan 90 km/u rijden. Net voldoende voor de ring, maar is dat ook nuttig?
