The Supreme Court has blocked President Trump’s use of an emergency law to impose sweeping tariffs on most U.S. trading partners. In a 6-3 decision, the court argued that Trump’s use of IEEPA to control tariffs would expand executive power at the expense of the other branches of government. President Trump blasted the court saying they must have been influenced by foreign powers.
