Main Point: In the crucifixion of Jesus, it appeared that God was punishing a cursed man, when in reality God was punishing mankind in his blessed Son.

Main Point: As sinners, we stand guilty for the truth we ignore, suppress, or reject; there is no way, apart from Christ, for us to remove that guilt.

Our faith in Christ is anchored in the completeness of His work.

There is nothing we can add to His sacrifice or take away from His authority.

In Him the fullness of deity dwells. He is “very God of very God” (Nicene

Creed) and sovereign over His creation. These foundational beliefs encourages

us to trust in His sufficiency and share that message of hope and grace with

others.

Main Point: True repentance is about more than feeling guilt and trying to make your own amends – it is about also seeing God’s grace and placing your hope in the Savior who laid his life down for sinners.
