"I have been changed for good"
After the previous book, this was like the rainbow after the storm. I was shocked and then rooting for Hamilton till the very end. I was so sad entering the book (SPOILERS- sorry- if you read the last book you KNOW WHY) but went into it knowing "the series can't just end like that." I was right! It's delightfully surprising as it reveals "who they are" and "what about those guys" along the way. There's a lot of AH HA moments- blowing your mind. It showed a so much more "grown up" version of Hamilton as he shows his protective side as well as his forgiving side. I enjoyed the answering of SO MANY QUESTIONS.
(SPOILER) The climax reminded me of a bit of those action thriller rooftop scenes- face off between protagonist and the REAL villain. Quite the page turner. It was a big reveal after big reveal- like finding treasure after treasure.
Makes me feel like I have become friends with HAMILTON himself- that I've been honored to go along on his journey and I am better for it.
A beautiful end to a great series!
Even 7 years later life from Hamilton has many little surprises. I loved this series from beginning to end.
Trust me you will want to read the whole series!
Start to Finish
I enjoyed this series: the mix of longing, fulfillment, mystery, and perfect imperfections as the story line and characters grow. Everlasting brings it all together without ending it all. Start to finish, I recommend this book as well as the entire series. Enjoy1
Great Ending
This book is a fantastic conclusion to a great series. The ending is very emotional (you might need your tissues for this one.) Can't wait to see what else C.S. Johnson does in the future!
