Take a moment to take in the goodness of God today. Get some perspective on your situation by asking God to reveal His faithfulness and His beautiful creation, even in the midst of your disaster. He is with you and He has given us beauty - perhaps to make the ugly a little more bearable.

Today we find comfort in knowing that Jesus was all God and all man. He had all knowledge, and yet he still felt every emotion of humanity. His purpose was to die for our sins, and in that process, He identified with our pain. Jesus is so much more faithful than we realize.

We're back! Jumping in head first into why God's Word is so vital in our lives. Scripture not only feeds us today, but in a week when we're hungry and needing a word, we can reach into the scripture we've hid in our hearts and be blessed.

It's hard to give encouragement when we're feeling discouraged. It's hard not to isolate and neglect your friendships when you're battling pain. But it's even harder to fight these battles alone. Take time today to reach out to a friend who many need a little extra support and see how God uplifts you through your uplifting others.

Are you feeling isolated or lonely? Do you struggle finding good friends that will lead you to Jesus? I've been there, but God is a provider, and knows exactly what we need. Drawing boundaries can be scary, especially when you are a people pleaser and cautious of pushing other's away. Boundaries are not selfish, they are actually the opposite. By drawing boundaries, you'll have the capacity to have deeper compassion. You can draw boundaries and still lead a life of sensitive to the Holy Spirit. You can draw boundaries and still love people. Today's devotional gives us the tools to do all this with God's unfailing grace.

God has called us to more than a life of bitterness; He's called us to a life of healthy emotions, boundaries, and feeling without being controlled by our feelings. Let's let go of bitterness together today!

Every day we get up, we have a new opportunity to make choices that either pull us away from Jesus, or bring us closer to Him. How beautiful is it that we possess that power to direct our lives. We can't control the world around us, but we can control ourselves. Our thoughts. Our words. Our actions. Are our words lining up with who God says we are? Revaluate with me, and let's get determined to make choices that lead us to Him!

I'm so glad to be back after almost 3 weeks! Today, I share a small piece of my heart with you, and this devotional brings everything full circle. My healing is going through one of the messy, uncertain parts, but God is putting me in uncomfortable quiets all throughout my life to make me better.
