The Every Day Man Series is a feature I am doing on my podcast of three episodes. The focus is to speak to three men that I know who are fathers and husbands. They are working and building a future for their families while putting in the work to better themselves so they can be better fathers and husbands. These are true heroes in our lives but do not get the praise they deserve.
In this episode, I sit down with my friend Kirk Coburn. Kirk is based in Calgary and I have had the honour of getting to know him really well over the past year. We have also started our own Men's group together in Calgary. In this episode, Kirk shares his story and how he considered suicide as a child due to his insecurities. Kirk then talks about how a letter from his father changed his entire perspective and he realized how his life meant more. Now Kirk is a proud father to two boys and a loving husband, Kirk shares his journey of doing the work and becoming a better man.
