Every Day's A Holiday

In the modern age of typing and texting, we certainly don't actually put pen to paper like we used to. While some do prefer to write notes, keep paper lists and planners or journals, for some, it's almost a lost art. Today we celebrate one tool that elevated human civilization. It's January 23 and today is National Handwriting Day.

Some like it hot, really really, really hot. Today is a day where it's certainly getting hot in here - spicy that is. While not everyone can take the heat, today is for those who can. It's January 22 and today is National Hot Sauce Day!

As if you didn't need someone to tell you to put on your most comfortable pair of elastic and soft pants today, I'm telling you that today is your day. Bring on the comfy, bring on the cozy, and sure, why not, bring on the comfort food too. It's January 21 and today is International Sweatpants Day.

Today we celebrate a feathered animal that is always the sharpest dressed animal at the party. Instead of taking to the skies, when they're not waddling, they're swimming around in freezing waters. It's January 20 and today is National Penguin Day.

Today's a day for the movies... or at least the favorite movie watching snack. It's salty, crunchy, and best of all, buttery. Go on and grab a bucket of this because it's January 19 and today is National Popcorn Day.

Today we're venturing deep into the hundred acre woods where Christopher Robin plays... where there's a a donkey, tiger, kanga and roo, a piglet and owl, and rabbit too. But most of all there's a chubby little cubby all stuffed with fluff Winnie the Pooh! It's January 18 and today we celebrate this willy, nilly, silly old bear on National Winnie the Pooh Day.
