 Feeling like you take one step forward yet, two steps back? I've been their... trust me! But it's amazing what a lesson from one of my dearest mentors Ron Kenoly AND an old movie taught me about purpose. This one lesson gave me the confidence to stop being embarrassed about my situation and will help you to keep pushing toward destiny!

When God delivered the Israelites from Egypt He made a decision to lead them the LONG way through the wilderness (Ex 13:17-18). Imagine the people's confusion when after walking through the parted sea they then experience a season of wilderness! But what we see in scripture is that His choice was actually  a gesture of grace... a measure of protecting them from running back to bondage when they undoubtedly would have encountered a Philistine war.  God might not always meet our expectations but His heart is always for us and for His glory!

The Israelites of God spent 400 hundred years in bondage even though they knew they were the promised people. They fell short, they took wrong turns BUT they continued to remember who they were AND they continued to grow! When your dreams feel far away remembers whose child you are and just keep growing! Your season is on the horizon!!!
