Today we discussed some things that God used to shape our thinking about marriage. From situations with unbelievers to faithful members of our local church to, ultimately and finally, His Word, God used many situations and people to help us better understand His design for marriage. We also included a bit about what's new in our lives and what we have been (and will continue to be) reading.

Without completely explaining everything I seek to whet your appetite for reading this little book on what it looks like to have (and strive for) a healthy church. Desiree and Daniel finally get back to talking about the Lord's Supper! This time the text is 1 Corinthians 10 (especially verses 16 and 17) and the focus is on the relationship between the unity of the church and the church's participation in the Lord's Supper. As usual there is a bit of preliminary banter to start the episode (and explain why there was no episode last week) and at the end an update on what Daniel and Desiree are reading.

In the first of two Christmas episodes Desiree and Daniel share a bit about what Christmas was like for them growing up. Many people celebrate Christmas in very different manners, and some don't even celebrate at all. For Desiree and Daniel there were a couple things they enjoyed for various reasons with their families. Also, as usual, they start with "what's new" and finish with "what we're reading".
