Last week, Christianity Today Magazine released a report detailing allegations of sexual harassment against two former employees. An editor and chief as well as an advertisement executive.

So much is still happening overseas and it’s effecting the lives of millions of people in the country of Ukraine. Our friend Scott Yount has been a Missionary Pastor in Ukraine since 2014 and is now experiencing being a Refugee and helping so many across the boarder. We would love for you to hear his story and there is even other ways to help out his work.

Over the past several months we have been hearing rumors. War was coming. Russia was massing troops on the Ukrainian border. Twitter, Facebook, TikTok, and traditional news sources kept talking about it. Then, it hit. Over the past week a steady stream of bombings, gunfire, air power, and death has been streamed from Europe into our homes. Jesus told us, “There will always be wars and rumors of wars” so how do we as Christians approach this topic as it unfolds?

Throughout history ideas have entered into the world only to be met with adversity and disdain.

Some said the internet would never replace books. Some said Facebook was a joke. Some said VR wouldn’t be a hit. Some said crypto was a waste of money. And now there is the Metaverse. And if you have no idea what we are talking about, we will catch you up in a few. If you’ve heard about the Metaverse you’ve probably thought … is this really going to last? And maybe it will and that’s why we are talking about it.

Today we are going to talk about Justice. In the recent weeks we’ve seen our timelines flood with stories featuring Kyle Rittenhouse and Ahmaud Arbery. In the past year our world has watched the as we’ve heard verdicts in the murders of George Floyd and Breanna Taylor.  This is just a shadow of a long list of names that have caught our attention and shaped the futures of communities, lives, and families. No matter where you stand or sit or shout, justice is an elephant in the room.

It's hard to turn on the news or scroll down your social media feeds and figure out if the news you are receiving is information or misinformation. It's hard to know the facts. This week the guys are going to talk about how this is misused from examples like the Kyle Rittenhouse or anything else you might find on the internet. In the end, we can learn from one another, build on the relationship, and stop trying to be right all the time.
