When a project is over, where do you go? When a new door opens it can be bittersweet to say goodbye to the things that need to be left behind in order to walk through that door. That is where I find myself right now. Everyday Extraordinary was truly an extraordinary experience for me to get to know those in my life even better and I believe my personal faith is all the better for it. The end of Everyday Extraordinary marks the beginning of Audio Steeple. This new podcast will have episodes on Tuesdays and Thursdays to help us take our faith beyond Sundays and grow in Christ. We would be super grateful if you would be willing to check out Audio Steeple! The first two episodes are available right now! You can also keep up to date with the new podcast @AudioSteeple on Instagram. Thank you again.
What does it mean to be part of a team within the church? How does a team successfully plant a church? These are some of the questions I wanted to discuss with my pastor Jeremy Minor. However, since I planned out this episode the world has changed. We were still able to talk about team but we also had the opportunity to discuss the church’s role in current events. I hope you are able to take something from this podcast and apply it to your life and your journey following God. If you would like to reach out you can find me across all social media @chazmcpeake and you can find Bedrock Lynchburg @bedrocklburg or bedrocklynchburg.com.
Aaron Milton is my cohost on the Reel Movie Talk Podcast. Every week we sit down to discuss movie news, reviews, trivia, and we play the occasional game. Around recording we talk about other things in life and one day Aaron casually mentioned that his parents attended a church two states over. This blew my mind and got me thinking about the differences in churches in different cultures. Even churches in the same country. Aaron agreed to sit down with me and discuss church culture. I hope that our discussion sparks discussions between other Christian groups and we can show more love. If you would like to get in contact with me you can find me across all social media @chazmcpeake. That you for listening and please be sure to subscribe and share this podcast.
Rob Shepherd is lead pastor of Next Level Church in Yorktown, a blogger, and an author. Rob has a strong desire to share God and His truth with as many people as possible. This drive coupled with his innate Enneagram 9 personality and pastoral duties has placed him in a counselor's chair on multiple occasions. On one such occasion the person he was counseling gave him the idea to take some of the ideas within the sessions and put them in a book. That book is now available and entitled Kill The Jerk. Throughout the pages Rob works to help people understand themselves, those around them, and how to cultivate better, healthier relationships. Please be sure to check out this episode and find the meaning behind Kill The Jerk. You can also order your copy of the book now! You can find out more about Rob and Next Level Church through their website. You can also order Kill The Jerk from Amazon by clicking here. Once you have read the book feel free to leave a review! (Which you can also do for this podcast if you'd like). You can find me across all social media @chazmcpeake. That you for listening and please be sure to subscribe and share this podcast.
Jeremiah greatly understands where he has been in life, where he is now, and that there is amazing power and love to be found in Jesus. I met Jeremiah a little while back and was able to hear a small portion of his story but I had no idea how much he has been through and how much God has pulled him out of. We sat down to record one episode about Jeremiah’s life but there was no way we could condense everything down into anything less than two episodes. That is why this is the second part in a two part series. If you have not yet listened to part one please do not miss it! Be sure to listen to both episodes to hear all of this awesome, life altering story. If you would like to talk more to Jeremiah, ask questions, or invite him to speak at any event or service you have coming up you can connect with him @mayahwehexalt on Instagram. You can find me across all social media @chazmcpeake. That you for listening.

A while back I had the pleasure of meeting a guy by the name of Blake Gederberg. I used to work with Blake’s wife and through her we became friends. Blake is someone who has contagious excitement for projects he works with. He is a business man that has been a big part of bringing life back to downtown Lynchburg. You can follow his businesses on social media @speakertreelyh and @backlinecoffee. He was willing to sit down with me a talk a bit about business, life and faith. I hope you are able to take something from this discussion. If you would like to reach out you can find me across all social media @chazmcpeake.
A few years ago I started my first podcast with a friend named Tyler Wilson. Life happened and that podcast came to an end. When I decided I was going to do Everyday Extraordinary I decided that my first guest should be none other than my old cohost Tyler. We discussed our faith and our lives and in that discussion I could tell that his theology had changed a bit since the days of Mountain Peak Reflection. When planning for season two of this podcast I thought it might be nice to have Tyler as a returning guest to discuss a topic that I knew we disagreed on. My goal was to record a discussion between two people with differing opinions to show it does not always need to end in anger and argument. However, when I reach out to Tyler I learned that his theology had changed even further and our discussion was not going to go as I had planned. I hope you are able to take something from this podcast and apply it to your life and your journey following God. If you would like to reach out you can find me across all social media @chazmcpeake.
This is not your normal episode. This episode is audio from a message I gave at Legacy Church following the live recording of The Battle For Home. I studied Psalm 130 and used the stages of grief cycle to propose a stages of faith cycle. I hope you are able to take something away from this message. I pray you can honestly evaluate your faith and grow in Christ. Thank you so much for listening, subscribing, and sharing. I hope you are able to take something from this podcast and apply it to your life and your journey following God. If you would like to reach out you can find me across all social media @chazmcpeake.
I am originally from West Virginia. When the rest of the country was suffering from economic hardships we somehow snuck by with the still thriving coal mines. However, West Virginia did not get away unscathed. Coal mines continue to close and people continue to find themselves out of work. In times like these some individuals turn anywhere they can to find something to numb the pain. West Virginia finds itself in the clutches of a drug epidemic. Now, I am not going to blame the epidemic solely on layoffs. There are a lot more things that go into this problem from culture to simply how highways run. West Virginia has an uphill battle to take back its people. It breaks my heart to see the place I was born and raised become over run. People have not given up hope though. The drug empire is looming but the resistance is strong. I did not have to look hard to find five people to join me on stage at Legacy Church as we recorded in front of a live audience about their Battle For Home. I hope you are able to take something from this podcast and apply it to your life and your journey following God. If you would like to reach out you can find me across all social media @chazmcpeake.
