In the first half of Episode 8, several storylines converge. We get an introduction to the Samaritan Woman Jesus will meet later; we see the feast at Matthew's House; we witness more or Nicodemus' struggles; Jesus heals Simon's mother-in-law; and the Disciple set out on a journey with Jesus to a place they do not want to go. 

This episode focuses primarily on the famous scene of Nicodemus visiting Jesus at night, from John Chapter 3, but also includes the calling of Matthew, which we've been anticipating for several episodes.

This episode covers two great healing miracles - Jesus healing the Leper and the Paralyzed Man. Compassion and humility are both important themes in this episode.

This episode focuses entirely on the Wedding at Cana from John chapter 2. It's a wonderful story, wonderfully portrayed, and it teaches us a lot about faith.

"The Rock on which it is Built" - This episode culminates in Simon Peter's Miraculous Catch of Fish from the opening verses of Luke 5. Simon struggles with Faith (just as we all do), but Jesus goes to great lengths to capture his attention. 

"Jesus Loves the Little Children" - this episode puts Jesus' humanity on display. It also shows him welcoming and teaching children, and praising their childlike faith. 

"Shabbat" - this episode explores the importance of the Sabbath, and the way different folks approach it. And we get to know a little more about the main characters, and how they're affected by meeting Jesus. 

"I have Called You by Name" - Season 1, Episode 1 introduces some main characters, and finishes with a powerful scene of healing. In this episode we discuss those characters, and what this healing teaches us about who Jesus is. 

We plan to walk through the episodes of the TV show "The Chosen," and use them as a roadmap to talk about Jesus and the Gospels. In this episode, we introduce this new series. 

Sometimes we need to listen to God and trust what He says. And Easter is proof that we can rely on that.
