Samantha Burke is the Vice President of Programming and Development for Pass the Torch for Women Foundation, where she has successfully created and implemented national mentoring solutions to enhance and implement diversity and inclusion initiatives for universities and corporations over the last seven years. Samantha has developed and adapted the Foundation's programming into a national, theory-based model and works directly with program participants to lead and facilitate program curricula.

As a founder of a non-profit, motivational speaker and upcoming published author, Samantha has been highlighted as a leader who motivates through authenticity, vulnerability and servant leadership tactics. She is driven by personal and professional aspirations, noting that starting her own orphanage in the Dominican Republic being at the top of the list! Samantha is a proud Purdue University alumna and has recently completed an online certificate program from Harvard Business School.

Tylia Flores is a 25-year-old born with cerebral palsy. Although her condition has affected her mobility, it has never affected her will and determination to make a difference in the world. Through her many life challenges and obstacles, she discovered her passion for writing. Tylia’s goal in life is to share her stories with the world. Heather Moyse is one of Canada’s great multi-sport athletes. A four-time Olympian in two-man Bobsleigh, Heather won gold at the 2010 Winter Games in Vancouver, and again at the 2014 Games in Sochi. Before she was an Olympic champion, Heather was a mainstay on Canada’s Senior Women’s Rugby Team. Heather led Canada to silver in the 2013 Rugby Sevens World Cup, and was the top try scorer in the 2006 and 2010 Women’s Rugby World Cups. In 2016, Heather became only the second Canadian, and first Canadian female, to be inducted into the World Rugby Hall of Fame. Heather represented Canada in a third international sport in 2012, when she placed Top Five in two events at the Pan-Am Track Cycling Championships in Argentina.

And in 2016, before deciding to compete for her fourth Olympic Games in 2018 at 39, Heather climbed Antarctica’s highest peak, Mount Vinson, as part of an expedition to support the members of the Canadian Armed Forces.

Heather has a master’s degree in occupational therapy, and is a highly sought-after motivational speaker. Some of her past clients include TEDx, Arbonne, Canada Post, Loblaws, Royal Canadian Mint, Fidelity Investments, the Canadian Armed Forces, CIBC, Canadian Association of Emergency Physicians, Canadian Student Leadership Conference, Trillium Automobile Dealers Association, University of Waterloo, Atlantic Women in Law Enforcement, SunLife Financial, BMW, Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan, and has shared the stage with author and leadership guru, John C. Jodi Bondy has a very wide range of talents and interests. Born and raised in Michigan, oldest of 2 kids in her family, only one to a;end college from her family. She grew up a country girl – picked blueberries for as long as she can remember, spent almost every weekend camping in the wild of western Michigan and then longer family vacaAons to the UP. Her dad did not believe in taking paved roads, so back road travel was the norm.

Jodi moved with her family to DeTour Village (in the UP) during her junior year of high school and then went to college at Michigan Tech. She was an athlete – volleyball, basketball, track, baseball (before Title IX), and cross-country skiing. She picked up hockey in college. Jodi had a very diverse knowledge on chores and tasks to keep the things she enjoyed running and in good condiAon.

AOer college graduaAon in 1982, she married her husband Tim and they moved to South Carolina for his job. They spent 4 years in the south, became parents and were very involved in the community. But they missed family. So the search to move back north began. Finally Tim found a job in Indiana and they moved there in 1987.

Jodi has been an Emergency Medical Technician since 1978 and has been cerAfied in 3 different states. She conAnues to serve as an EMT on their local volunteer Fire Rescue department. Jodi has a BS in Biological Sciences, a MS in Natural Health and also Secondary Ed Teacher CerAficaAon. She sAll teaches EMT classes and now owns her own business.

Jodi and Tim have 3 grown daughters, all married and 5 grandkids. Now Jodi has to keep a “honey do” list filled for Tim so that she can get her work done.

Jodi owns a Victorian home that they rent out for events, hosts craOing weekends, runs her photo managing business and sAll finds Ame to be wife, mom and gramma.

Hoosier Photo Organizer was started 7 years ago when Jodi wanted to help people save their memories before the stories and physical items were ruined. She now helps people by scanning and digiAzing many media formats, makes books and helps people to organize their memories.

Jodi has worked as a bank teller, at Stouffer Foods in Quality Control and Industrial Engineering, ecology research at Butler University, taught in several school districts in central Indiana, was director of Academic Support at DePauw University to name some of her jobs.

Silvia is the parent of a child with autism, and has worked with a statewide Parent Training and Information Center, with YAI a large non-profit in New York City as a bilingual behavior specialist working with families of children with developmental disabilities, and served as Executive Director of NYC Parents of Children with Autism. She has worked collaboratively with Family to Family Health Centers throughout the country and is an active member of the New York Developmental Disability Planning Council. Silvia is dedicated to supporting increased student and parent advocacy for families across the country and globally. Silvia has presented in various topics related to disability and advocacy as well as facilitated leadership training in New York as well as in Brazil and in Italy. She has earned her Bachelor's degree in Interdisciplinary Studies focusing on Social Work and Psychology through Nyack College and her Master's degree in Human Services through Liberty University. She is Certified in Leadership, Coaching, Speaking and Training though the John Maxwell International Certification. She is fluent in Spanish, Portuguese and Emerging ASL

It’s no coincidence that Suzanne Castle remembers almost every line of Schoolhouse Rock. As a deeply creative spirit with sparkle in her soul, she recognized early on the importance of art to capture our attention – how a small twist on an old idea can inspire us to consider government, grammar, or gravity through the memorable lens of rhythm, melody, and rhyme. This joy-filled ability to recreate the world and allow it to glimmer anew – the “sparkle factor” – is a necessary and too often neglected piece of our humanity and thriving. Suzanne’s desire is to call to life the creative spirit in herself and others, to invigorate and honor artists and creatives as they lend their essential vision to the way we see the world.

Her road, like that of most artists, has been neither straight nor narrow. Early years packed to the brim with dance and acting classes, coaching sessions, film and theater roles, teaching, and music set an unsustainable pace that was stopped abruptly short by family tragedy. Suzanne’s plans were knocked from the spotlight into the shadows, and a quieter season of seminary, several ivory tower degrees, and subtle reinvention followed. In this less-spotlit space, she found her love for fostering the creative spirit in others, and her ability to see and amplify that spirit began to set the stage for the work she does today.

She’s learned a thing or two about how to navigate a setback. Budget cuts have rendered her suddenly jobless, old emotional traumas have demanded her energy for their healing, and her own sparkle factor has had to sustain the complexities of loss, disappointment, reinvention, and time. Recapturing the glimmer in her soul has taken years of patient practicing, sometimes failing, sometimes stubbornly repeating the simplest truth – staying stuck is never the solution. Stuck is never the furthest we can go.

Suzanne returns again and again to the spark in a room full of dreamers. The possibility, the presence and crackle of that magical rewriting of what could be, is the zing that keeps her creative spirit alive. It is her joy to foster this space for others, through one-on-one coaching, through grape stomping and song, through group retreats and events, speaking engagements, well-crafted stories, art projects, and stargazing. Suzanne connects the constellations of her own winding story to draw us closer to the creative spirit shining within us, to help us outline its purpose and direction, to provide us rest and inspiration as we trace out the stories we’re hoping to tell.
