In this interview, Travis sits down with Jennifer Wilson, founder of New Leaf Coaching & Consulting. Jennifer is an Everyday Humanitarian who lives to help others through her profession and her love of the outdoors. Listen in as they discuss living in integrity, serving other to heal the self, and what being an Everyday Humanitarian really means.

In this interview, I had the opportunity to be inspired by the amazing words of Lydia Cross Mays, founder of See Beautiful. As a teacher, Lydia experienced the ways in which young girls struggle with seeing their own beauty. She wanted to change this, and thus, the See Beautiful movement was born. See Beautiful aims to remind people of the beauty that is inherent in this world through celebrating women and girls, sharing stories of individuals and  non-profits that are doing amazing work with the world, and creating products that support the mission of seeing beautiful. In this interview I had the opportunity to chat with Liz Fanning, founder of CorpsAfrica. After serving as a Peace Corps volunteer in Morocco in the early 1990’s, Liz went on to be involved in numerous service organizations, nationally and internationally. Listen as Liz and I discuss national service and the role of nonprofits in Africa, as well as being “part of the solution” by working with local citizens to affect change in communities. Today’s interview features Libby Hite, a former AmeriCorps National Civilian Community Corps (NCCC) member who has continued to work for national service through her career with the Corporation of National & Community Service. She has dedicated most of her adult life to national service and finding ways to help others. I had the honor of working with Libby while I was a team leader in AmeriCorps NCCC and benefitted from her wisdom and experiences as an AmeriCorps member.

I've had the honor of working with Orly and her wonderful organization for several months now. It's hard to believe that time has been flying by so fast! Her wonderful video on kindness, called Kindness Boomerang, received over 20 million hits in its first three months and it's still going strong. Orly has touched the hearts of millions of people, including me, and she has many more to go. During our interview Orly sits down with us to explain the inspiration for the video and her organization, advice that she has for everyday humanitarians who want to change the world and why she is excited for our Everyday Service class.
