This week on the podcast, we have Sebastian Saavedra. Sebastian is a Colombian IndyCar driver who was the 2009 Indy Lights Rookie of the Year. He has had a successful career in racing, and in 2019, he participated in International Motor Sports Association (IMSA) 24 Hours of Daytona race, winning the LMP2 class in the #18 DragonSpeed Oreca 07, piloted by Pastor Maldonado, Roberto Gonzalez, Ryan Cullen and himself.

Sebastian and I talked about his life and how he was able to compete at the IndyCar level of racing.

Jeremy served in the Army as a Green Beret in the Special Forces. He founded and managed several tech companies that built SaaS software to solve industry issues: Investway and AppealTaxes-Now, to name a few. He now focuses on building a SaaS and service component for cyber security compliance management, apprenticeship management, and more. He is proud to be a part of the cyber war effort and help protect our country, its companies, and their families from those who would do us harm online or otherwise.

It was an honor talking to Jeremy. He is such a badass dude! He knows the world of cyber security and is able to speak to it and what's currently happening so well.

Nick Hardwick is a former NFL Pro Bowl Center for the San Diego Chargers. He earned distinction as one of the 50 Greatest Chargers of All-Time as a member of the 50th Anniversary team, won the Ed Block Courage award, and earned Pro Bowl honors for his play on the field. Nick’s proudest accomplishment during his career was earning the title of Team Captain for his last 5 seasons in the league.

Following Nick’s illustrious career in football, Nick immediately lost 85lbs in under 5 months,
showing up at his retirement press conference weighing 208lbs. The program he designed for himself to lose weight has become the Lose Like a Lineman Program and, most recently Lose Like a Lady designed with his health-conscious wife, Jayme’s guidance. Together they are helping hundreds of people lose weight and stay active every day. They also host a health and wellness-focused podcast called The HardwickLIFE.

Nick is not only one of the most hard-working guys you'll ever meet, but he's also one of the most genuine. On and off the field he gets shit done!

Chris Hicks is currently a Manager of Global Integration Services at Ultimate Kronos Group, a vibe curator as DJ 290West, a real estate investor, and most importantly, a father. He was born and raised on the west side of Chicago, where he built his value foundation based on community outreach, toughness, mentorship, and a strong work ethic. 

In 2019, Chris was recognized by Junior Achievement as a finalist for Indy’s Best and Brightest in Tech. In 2020, the Indiana Business Journal and TechPoint recognized Chris as a member of the Tech25 class for his exceptional work performance, mentorship, volunteering, and contributing to the broader tech community.

Monte Denehie is an all-around badass. He was commissioned as a second lieutenant in Army Aviation, where he attended flight school and qualified in the Kiowar Warrior attack/recon helicopter. He commanded an attack helicopter company in the 82nd Airborne Division and was also a jumpmaster. 

So, as we said, total badass.
