Arlyne (@heyworkmom) and Jose (Work Unc) talk about the importance of every role and how everyone -- regardless of skill level or experience -- brings value to the workplace and their teams.
--
Adulting is hard, but no worries -- Hey, Work Mom's got you! Over the course of their decades long careers as team leaders and people managers, @HeyWorkMom (Arlyne) and @WorkUnc (Jose) discovered a similar, common pattern between them. As they led, coached, and mentored young professionals and emerging leaders in the workplace, Arlyne and Jose would often be seen respectively as a "work mom" and "work uncle" to the talent and rising stars in their orbits. Hey, Work Mom! was established as an extension and in the spirit of the "safe space, no judgement, tough love" conversations that Arlyne and Jose have (and continue to have!) with their "ducklings" on everyday job dilemmas, workplace challenges, and other common early career topics that employees encounter throughout their career and professional development journeys.
