Let's take a trip down memory lane in this episode reflecting on the jobs I had in my teenage years. 

One thing that has discouraged me from recording new episodes for this podcast is the disclaimer I've been told I need to do before each episode. That disclaimer is the dumbest thing for the dumbest of people. Do I really need to remind everyone that my views are my views and I don't speak for any other organizations, companies, or people? People can't be that stupid...or can they?

I still don't exactly know what a "trauma response" is but that doesn't stop me from analyzing the article "10 Anxious Behaviors That May Actually Be Trauma Responses" from Psychology Today. How many of the 10 anxious behaviors will I, and will you, recognize? My number was higher than I thought.  

TikTok has made it apparent that one of the most triggering opinions I have is that if you are not a doctor stop diagnosing the shitty people in your life as narcissists, sociopaths, or bipolar just because it makes you feel better. It is a reflection of your level of self-awareness. 

I'm celebrating 2 years since asking my former fiancee to leave my life. On and off dating during those 2 years has defiantly been an adventure. What I’ve taken away from my dating experience is that there are A LOT of single people that have decided to ignore their insecurities and live in a world of very little self-awareness, I was even guilty of this at times.

All of us are extremely dumb in a lot of aspects of our life. We are also very intelligent about other aspects but mostly we are dumb. It's time to embrace our dumbness. Whether it's my dad's fight with cheesecake his entire life, the people who left their phone's location services on when they stormed the US Capitol on January 6th, or me when I'm trying to figure out my I can't get my water bill on automatic payments; we all can be dumb AF.

As I'm perusing the aisles of Sam's Club, buying stuff I absolutely don't need, I can't help but notice all of the different types of families at this store. Families with kids are all over the place; it seems like every other person is carrying around their little munchkins or quietly yelling to "put that down." There are dads who look like they haven't slept in days and there are moms who seem to be able to keep track of their children without batting an eyelash. This Sam's Club visit has me pondering how different my life would be if I had kids earlier in life and/or got married. 

It's been almost a full year since a new episode of the Everyone Needs a Little podcast has been released, so what in the hell have I been doing?  The answer is extremely simple but complex at the same time. I started a business, adopted a bulldog, and have experienced a crazy ride on the app TikTok. 

After realizing how much my mental health was deteriorating I made the decision to hit the road. This episode coming to you from sunny Destin, Florida.
