For my final in my Gender and Society Course in Spring 2021, I was given the option to take an exam or do a project. As someone who gets anxious about exams, of course, I chose a project. I decided to research how the US prison system affects cis-gender women who are a part of it. In this episode, I'm sharing information I've learned while researching how the prison system is an oppressive institution towards women.
