Everything is Wrestling

Bugs and Ella get sold on a time share in an Alternate Universe

Author of The Amelia Temple Series and Shadows Over Ravenkirk, Vivian Moira Valentine brought to our attention something truly monumental. Did you know you can play pretend with yer gay lil friends and it’s cool now?

finger to ear piece I’m sorry my apologies I have been informed that it’s more of a begrudging tolerance and a Chris Pine vehicle.

That’s not important what’s important is there is a Pro Wrestling Super Hero Table Top RPG.

Ya got a Vince McMahon in yer machine dere. . .

On the noble quest to podcast more than anyone has ever podcast before Josh Boerman (Worst Of All Possible Worlds, Ill Conceived) joins us to teach us how to say Deus Ex and what is and isn’t an Immersive Sim.

In return we expose him to the world of Professional Wrestling the safest way possible, small controlled doses with a spoonful of Gay Jokes.

It’s time to put the ring up It’s time to light the lights. . .

We complete the Here Comes Tomorrow collection as Muppet Historian and Podcaster Becca Petunia (@tallgirlpetunia.bsky.social, herecomestomorrow.net, toughpigs.com) breaks it down Felt style on the Kayfabe of Sesame Street.

Discussions here in:
-If you meet a muppet and address the puppeteer you are the weird one
-Kermit’s Drag Queen Past
-Is Muppet’s from Space ACTUALLY bad or will Ella be forever vindicated okay?

We have been informed that we do in fact live in a society. . .

Don’t blame me my idea was a post collapse commune in the forest.

This week continue down our spreadsheet of things that are graps with an important one. The Law. Something a lot of us are in fact VERY undereducated in.

Who else could we possibly have on to teach us what's what but The Leftist Lawyer Sheryl Weikal!

Let me put this into words you might understand. . .

Oh, it’s happening Mr. Oliver.

Fellow wrestling Podcaster and host of International Object Sawyer IO came to us with the softest of soft ball pitches.

At it’s core much of this show is an ongoing discussion on the many ways of telling a story.
In that sense we have been given a fat juicy slop steak of a meal today with that pillar of broadcast television, the American Soap Opera!

There is literally grappling. . .

This week Beowulf expert, Summer Santos Webber ( aka TS-Eliot, @[email protected], SaintRidley on cashapp, venmo, and paypal) take Ella and Bugs on an epic journey that is likely to cause very little discourse, though is indeed Sexless as Matt Damon on an Island with Charlize Theron for 7 years apparently.

Normally I’d allude to the ways in which Beowulf is Graps but it would be easier to ask HOW ISN’T BEOWULF WRESTLING?!

The best part of “Believe” is the Lie. . .

Author of Ringmaster: Vince McMahon and the Unmaking of America, Podcaster of X-men and uhhh let’s go with everyone’s favorite broad abroad Josephine Riesman (josie.zone) is here for a conversation several years in the making.

In 2023 Josie laid out how professional wrestling and the art of Neokayfabe has shaped our politics and planted the seed in Ella’s brain that is this very podcast.

On this episode we discuss what that meant and more importantly what it means now.

Plus, a way to support those using Kayfabe to fight back against the Fascists that have used the Sport of Kings to attempt to appoint one.

So sometimes Pro Wrestling is Pro Wrestling. . .

Journalist and Lucha Libre aficionado Arturo Garcia (@aboynamedart.bsy.social )(Times of San Diego)

reached out with a desire to speak to us about Americano-gate. A WWE storyline that has developed in the last year and change that speaks to both the racist nature of the biggest Wrestling organization in the world as well as Pro Wrestling and its community's ability to reject that racism in the name of a legit cultural exchange and embrace of the common love that is Pretend Pugilism.

We invited Historian, YouTuber, and all around Doll Sophie Edwards (We Have Always Existed) into the Basement Lab and possibly a Time Machine so we can learn from her just HOW Gay and Trans the Ancient world really was and more importantly how it is indeed ALL WRESTLING.

Hey, I heard you like Gambling, so I put Gambling on Yer Gambling for Gambling!. . .

SIKE! It’s a Two-fer. Episode 1 has our guest Kennedy Cooper (The Most Important Election of Our Lives) is here and they have zero interest in playing nice. First they blow Bugs and Ella’s fragile minds with the cost of Cardboard and then they REFUSE to learn from Pro Wrestling history.

I ain’t buying a Pikachu that can’t fight.
