Everything Kratom

Today I share my thoughts on a post by The Kratom Guy Show that exposes a plan by an opponent of kratom to sabotage the new NIDA kratom study by taking part in it and feeding the researchers negative information! Unreal!!! (*Sources in this episode can be found below.)

Today we look at a question someone posted on Reddit about why people don’t tend to take kratom sublingually, and is it worth it to do so? (*Sources in this episode can be found below.)

Why isn't kratom used sublingually?

If We used it sublingually it would absorb faster and you would only neee about half a teaspoon i have

heard. know it tastes like shit. But what's your experience with this

I do this all the time. 1g under the tongue and held there until it annoys me then I swallow the remainder

this will hit faster with less material, keep in mind tho it will shorten the duration of effects

yea this right here coconut oil will help with affects and absorption also

Today have a conversation with Ron, a kratom user from Florida who talks about how he was introduced to kratom, how he uses it, and then he shares some very insightful viewpoints on the way kratom is talked about and how there is a whole lot missing from the narrative.

Today we discuss the recent developments in Louisiana’s Ascension Parish and how officials there, who have been set on making kratom illegal for both distribution and use, are now just starting to realize that this is not as simple as they thought. (*Sources in this episode can be found below.)

Today I reflect on a listener’s email from this past weekend which mentioned that although kratom tends to be referenced primarily with regards to the alleviation of pain and anxiety, they do not hear as much about some of the other ways it helps the people they know. I go into one specific element of their email: kratom and a high stress job.

Today we hear from a new listener who is trying kratom for the first time this week in the hopes that it will help them with their struggle with alcohol. Then, we respond to another listener’s email exploring the differences between addiction and dependence, what is a drug versus medicine, and is it really right to take a “middle of the road” view of kratom if evidence leans more one way?
