"I've always wanted to smash a guitar over someone's head. You just can't do that with a piano." -Elton John
Could we have picked a quote that more closely correlates to this week's episode? Yeah, probably so, but still, this is a pretty damn good quote. We're leaving it because we're not sure if we'll ever have the opportunity to use it.
Besides being a preferred weapon of piano players around the world, guitars are also universally loved for the variety of tones you can get from them. You can give 12 different guitar players the same guitar and amplifier and get 12 unique sounds every time. Everyone has their favorites, and Chris and Matt are going to get deep into theirs on this weeks episode of the Audio Arcana Podcast. It's that simple. Matt also has an amazing story about being chased by earth moving equipment. Seriously, he was chased by bulldozers and excavators and the like. Chris just has some questions for California concerning their methodology of naming cities.
