DJ Bigsky, Born Mncedisi Mnguni is a Sower a DJ, Producer, Writer and event planner specializing in innovative music and events to suit any occasion ranging from corporate events to intimate settings club events and live concerts. He is currently a mix DJ on Soweto TV’s number one show called Kasie Vibes.

DJ Bigsky started deejaying around 2003, mentored by DJ Star who was at the time part of the legendary group BFR formed by phenomenal DJ Mbuso. In 2007 he was the featured DJ on DA City with Mr.T on YOU called vinyl junkies where a lot of DJs got exposed, The like of BK  (He was part of deep Xpressions signed to BBB music) and DJ Zonke (a DJ/producer signed to Kalawa Jazmee)

In 2008 he started the Duo called Jazzulu where he worked with pianist Busi, The group went on to release a few singles on Radio and was part of a nationwide tour with Castle Milk Stout Unplugged sessions. During this time, he was also doubling as a record label manager for Mzee’s  (Mzlikazi Wa Afrika) record label called Bomba Records. The duo has since separated and Bigsky went the corporate route to pursue a career in engineering since he possesses a chemical engineering diploma, but the music kept pulling him back. He decided to resurrect his music career and is now one of the most prominent DJs in Soweto.
