It is not my place whatsoever to speak on the behalf of POC, so this episode is geared towards helping others to learn about what they can do, share and promote to help other humans become equal in society. It makes me so sad that this is a conversation we need to have in 2020, but I won't stop having it until everyone feels safe and important being their most genuine self. Hi everyone - I am not sure how I feel about posting this episode amidst the current events occurring across North America in the fight for racial equality. Although I touch on it in this episode, I don't say enough. I am doing my best to self-educate on these topics and learn how I can be the proper ally to POC. Besides discussing this topic briefly, I also reflect on my conversations with Thomas and Laurie, and discuss a few other things going on in my life right now. My next episode will be solely focused on white privilege and the role we have in supporting POC communities without drowning them out.
