The elections may be over, but political fever is still abuzz here in Singapore. In the second of our two-part series (created before polling day), we chat with public relations practitioner Joel Lim, who has been tirelessly dissecting the sights and sounds of the nine-day digital campaign. Singapore goes to the polls in a few days! The hustings have gone digital-first this year and young Singaporeans, too, have taken to political social media in droves. Some have launched vehement debates, while others put together e-resources for voters. Phew, we've survived Singapore's partial lockdown, also known as the "circuit breaker," for the past eight weeks! Props to our resilience. As the country gradually eases out of restrictions, Kun and Kels chat with friends from different walks of life – a speech therapist, a migrant worker, an expat, a hawker, a housewife and a photographer – about how they've spent the past weeks and what they miss most during these strange times.

This was one of our earlier experiments – Kun and Kels collected sounds from their respective apartments on two ends of Singapore, which we then mixed into a short soundscape. This was also published on the Pandemic Silence Project.
