Alex Garcia Riverra joins us this week, primarily to talk about his Mystic Valley Studio, one of the only all-analog studio in the US. Between me and you, I booked Alex mostly just to catch up, hang out and get into some deep philosophy regarding creativity, life and the passage of time. Aside from being on of the most brilliant recording engineers that I’ve experienced, he is an incredible drummer who has been a longtime member of American Nightmare as well as a host of other notable bands.

Author Allison Gunn joins us this week. NOWHERE, her debut novel came across my desk and immediately grabbed me with its tight prose and brooding atmosphere. Part police procedural, part folk horror and part family drama, I devoured the novel in about 3 sittings.  Allison’s follow up novel HIVE MIND is slated for a 2027 release so stay tuned.
