Being a young OG carries a lot of responsibility. But at the same time it should also come with a fair amount of respect.

Swiggle Mandela might not be a part of every rap conversation that has to do with Portland politics but he’s definitely in the conversation of the “ Go to rappers” here in the Rose City.

Now don’t think for one second that Swiggle doesn’t have politics of his own.

With controversial tracks like Dear white Portland, Dear Portland police & 40 acres and a new car. It’s kind of hard not to have politics with titles like these. But with all the racial tension, black lives matter protest and the unjustified killings of black men by the hands of the white police in Portland (and through out the us) it was definitely needed.
