On this week’s episode of ScaleUp Radio I talk to Dr Lizzy Bernthal from Release Your Potential.

 

You might remember that Dr Bernthal has been on before - back in April of 2020. 

 

In that episode we covered a lot of her history - the military and nursing background - but we wanted to talk more about Release Your Potential this time around, whilst also touching on the fact that we’ve had global pandemic since we last spoke.

 

What is also interesting to hear is how she’s grown as a business in the last couple of years; going from someone who had a small number of clients on a face-to-face basis - through to speaking to, sometimes, several countries at once with her online sessions.

 

There is so much value in this episode, with Lizzy talking through some of her own challenges, and bringing her experience to the conversation. As well as talking through the transition from simply ‘business owner’ to a genuine thought leader.

 

Amongst other things, we discussed:

 

 - The concept of ‘owning your story’; basically being honest about our strengths and weaknesses in our business - and tailoring our services or products accordingly

 - The freedom that comes with taking your business online as much as possible - a freedom for you, and for your clients too.

 - The power of sharing your own opinions and experiences on social platforms, like LinkedIn, to create connections.

 

Lizzy is such an engaging guest, and it was so good to hear how she’s changed since we spoke to her last. I know you’ll get something out of this conversation.
