In this episode of the Every.Thing.After #Podcast, Rob talks with Al Rodis, Melissa Koehl and Dan Lutger of @pantherstylemusic , a #rockband out of #Chicago. Formed nearly 20 years ago, the band last year released its first #newmusic in more than 13 years, with a 4-track EP and the title single #Dynasty. Their sound is influenced by #bands as varied as #TheCult, #Fugazi, #ThePosies, #BigStar, #NewOrder and early #VanHalen, blending bright harmonies with thick distorted #guitars. The band members, who also include founding member Jeanne McClure, have been in other bands with incredibly original names, like #MaryTylerMorphine, #DyslexicApaches, #Reptoids, and #theLittlemanComplex.
Every Thing After is the podcast where we ask the question: What's your ETA? An ETA, or an Every.Thing.After, can be anything you're doing to create and be creative ... after doing something else for a while, or after and amid the crazy times we're all living in. It's connecting with other creative people, and sharing passions and pursuits. Part of that is having conversations with bands, musicians, artists and other creatives, and you find those episodes out weekly on Wednesdays.
Part of that is having knee-jerk reactions to music, movies and shows and we do that on this show, which we call Knee Jerks: An ETA Podcast. Those episodes drop Fridays and Saturdays on our podcast channels.
If you'd like to get more involved in our ETA community, you'll find us on Instagram by searching for Every Thing After Photo. There you'll find concert photography, reviews, and clips from our latest podcast episodes ... and there you can answer our question: What's your ETA? And maybe be a guest on a future episode.
Thanks again ... until the next thing ...
