There are three prerequisites for our becoming good ground: to listen with a contrite and humbe heart, to be earnest in prayer and mortification, and finally, to be disposed to begin and begin again in the interior struggle.

Through the example of the holy women of the Gospel, we find that service is a way to find and follow Christ.

Speak well of others. SPEECH is one of the greatests gifts of God to men. Use it well.

Mercy is in God's nature, exemplified in Jesus Christ, his life and sacrifice.

Humility is a prerequisite to belief and is necessary to persevere in our obedience.

Forgive always, promptly and wholeheartedly. When we do so, it becomes unnecessary because we are no longer offended.

The more we love God, the more our soul is enabled to love Him firther and to receive more grace.

We are all God's children. The Master invites us to look at others without the prejudices that arise from our own faults, or from the pride which tends to magnify the weakness of others and diminish our own.

Offer your day to Christ and realize that we can congruously merit the conversion of others. Take full advantage of every opportunity to help others along the path to heaven.

Blessed are you when persecuted for the sake of God. Let this bring you joy and even more fervour to make Him known.
