Almsgiving is an essential part of living liturgically and is one of the three legs of Orthodox Spirituality. Today we discuss the importance of almsgiving and how we implement this practice in our home.

Warning! This is a tough episode. October is pregnancy and infant loss awareness month and to honor that we will be discussing our experience with this over the last year.

This is a bit of a longer format style episode compared to what we have released so far. In it we will discuss our experience specifically with miscarriage over the last year and some of the things we did to help to process all the physical and emotional aspects of it.

In this episode we discuss the topic of God parents. We discuss the important role that God parents play in the live of the child/adult. We also dive into choosing God parents for your own children as well as things you can do as a God parent for your own God children.
